Community Family Day 2021
Having tried to organise an event for 2020 but been stopped by COVID, we were very excited to get back in 2021 for our Family Day, a change from the fayres of previous years but just as successful. In the returning tea tent, the Sheddingdean Strummers played. This event was coupled with the planting of the remembrance tree outside the Maple Drive Community Hall, organised by Sheddingdean Baptist Church to acknowledge the loses and strength of the community during the pandemic.
Summer Fayre 2019
The 2019 Summer Fayre was a first for many things: our first June fayre, our first tea tent and our first time being assisted by 7th Burgess Scouts. There was a little rain on the day (another first) but we kept smiling through and popularity still seemed high. A coincidental fly-over by the Red Arrows to end the day perfectly.
Summer Fayre 2018
By far our highest attended event yet, the 2018 Summer Fayre saw masses flock the field accompanied. The perfect day for a fayre, temperatures well over 30C (much to the struggles of some). But all in all a very enjoyable day.
